For the masses :)

An Artist in Residence

I am seeking a stillness I know I won’t find in New York and have high hopes that I will in the South of France.

Artist Statement

My work is an exploration of fleeting experience, emotional nuance, and the quiet power of everyday moments. Raised across continents and cities, I draw my inspiration from the diverse rhythms of life in New York City and beyond, where the pulse of human thought, connection, and transition is constant and ever-shifting.

Through acrylic painting, digital art, poetry, and essays, I seek to engage both the eye and the mind — inviting viewers into a space where moments are captured not as static memories, but as living instants of presence and introspection. These works serve as fragments of introspection, investigating how life unfolds in brief flashes of color, thought, and feeling.

In my essays and written reflections, I interrogate the nature of presence, narrative, and the stories we tell ourselves to make sense of our lives — finding meaning not in grand absolutes, but in the texture of small experiences that are significant only momentarily. The act of creation itself becomes a meditation on how life’s richness is found in its fleeting, imperfect, and intimate moments.

My artistic practice embraces both the transient and the enduring — from the evocative brushstrokes of acrylic to the distilled language of poetry — and it calls on the viewer to slow down, immerse themselves, and find resonance in what might seem ephemeral. In these interstices of time and sensation, I invite a deeper awareness of what it means to be present, to observe, and to feel.
